What is this program?
The Fort Gregg-Adams Mentorship Program is a 6-month program open to all D.o.D. members interested in receiving career guidance or sharing their experience or knowledge with others.

Who is this program open to?
This program is open to anyone! There are no restrictions on who can be a mentor or a mentee. The right mentor is dependent on the specific needs of the mentee, so a more junior employee may be a mentor if they have a specific knowledge base or experience that is needed by the mentee, and a more senior employee may want to learn a new skill from a mentor that hasn’t been here as long or is of a lower paygrade.

How long is this program?
The Mentorship Program is a 6-month program. Each month mentors and mentees will meet at a set location for 2-3 hours. Mentors and mentees are encouraged to extend the Mentorship relationship past the timeframe but are not held accountable to do so.

How will my Mentor/Mentee be chosen?
Mentors and mentees will be matched from what the mentor has to offer and what the mentee is seeking.

How do I apply to be in the Mentorship Program?
There is an application process where an interested individual must submit their filled-out application to join. Supervisor approval and signature will be required for participation.
