Engineering Division Branches

Engineering Services

Engineering Services is responsible for project development, CAD & Reproduction services, and project management of both Corps of Engineers and Directorate of Contracting projects. Additionally the branch manages Architect-Engineer (AE) contracts, cost estimates, limited in house design, structural inspections, building and accessibility codes, Installation Status Report (ISR), Infrastructure, and the IMCOM Project Priority System (PPS) database of backlog of maintenance and repair projects – currently $160M.

Job Ordering Contracting

Job Order Contracting (JOC) – the JOC contract is different from standard construction contracts in that one umbrella construction contract is awarded with multiple option years. The Fort Gregg-Adams JOC Branch develops/designs projects for construction, and awards them as task orders on this prime contract, to one general contractor. This saves having to develop a new construction contract, specifications, formal design, etc. each time a new construction contract is awarded as required utilizing traditional methods. In 2010, JOC broke an all time record by awarding $20M in construction.
