Intake Procedures:
All appointments at the USATDS Fort Eisenhower Field Office are conducted virtually.  To obtain a virtual appointment, please follow the procedures outlined below for the type of appointment that you require.  Appointments will be obtained through coordination with your unit’s legal office or by calling 706-791-3217.  The telephone will be monitored during our hours of operation.

Our intake procedures have been updated for fully virtual operations.  Please review the procedures below as they relate to the type of action you are inquiring about:

  • For individuals with pending non-judicial punishment (Article 15), client intake will be coordinated through your unit’s legal office.  The legal office, in consultation with your chain of command, will provide you with a copy of your action and a client intake form for you to complete.  That information will then be sent to our office.  After receiving the action, our office will reach out to you – generally via email first, followed by a phone call.  Prior to that phone call, please ensure that your unit has provided you with a complete copy of your action and that you have watched the Article 15 video that is available here.  During your initial consultation call with the office, you will speak to one of our Defense Paralegals who will ensure that you are afforded an opportunity to speak to an attorney, should you request to.
  • For individuals with a pending administrative separation (Chapter), client intake will be coordinated through your unit’s legal office.  The legal office, in consultation with your chain of command, will provide you with a copy of your action and a client intake form for you to complete.  That information will then be sent to our office.  After receiving the action, our office will reach out to you – generally via email first, followed by a phone call.  Prior to that phone call, please ensure that your unit has provided you with a complete copy of your action and that you have watched the Chapter/Elimination video that is available here.  During your initial consultation call with the office, you will speak to one of our Defense Paralegals who will ensure that you are afforded an opportunity to speak to an attorney, should you request to.
  • For individuals with a pending investigation (law enforcement or administrative), please call during our hours of operation to schedule an appointment with an attorney.
  • For individuals facing a court-martial, please call during our hours of operation to schedule an appointment with an attorney.
  • For all other matters, please call and speak with one of our Defense Paralegals.
