Mr. William "Bill" Hegedusich
Mr. William “Bill” Hegedusich is a native of Youngstown, Ohio. He retired from the United States Air Force after 22 years of distinguished service as an electronic warfare officer in the B-52, RC-135 and MC-130 and served staff tours both in the US and overseas. Following retirement, he worked for the Archdiocese of Washington, D.C.
Bill’s prior Army civilian assignments included serving as the Director of Plans, Training, Mobilization, and Security and the Installation Emergency Manager at Fort Eisenhower, GA and as the Domestic Operations Team Chief on the Army Staff in the Pentagon. He served as an Air Force civilian as the Plans, Training, and Exercise Program Manager for North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command in the Pentagon and as the Interagency Specialist and XO to the Deputy to the Commander for the Joint Force Headquarters on Fort McNair, DC. Bill spent the majority of civilian career coordinating Department of Defense or Army-specific support to state and local governments responding to natural or manmade disasters as well developing and executing preparedness exercises to test mitigation and response plans from the installation to the whole of government.
Bill has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland; Master of Divinity from the Pope Saint John XXIII National Seminary and Master of Security Studies from the Naval Post Graduate School.
