Provides policy guidance and oversight for the Personnel Security (PERSEC) that is a system of policies and procedures that seek to mitigate the risk of workers (insiders) exploiting their legitimate access to an organization's assets for unauthorized purposes; Garrison Information Security (INFOSEC) that is the practice of preventing unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, inspection, recording or destruction of information; Industrial Security that ensures that cleared defense industry safeguards the classified information in their possession while performing work on contracts, programs, bids, or research and development efforts; Security Education Training and Awareness (SETA) that is an educational program that is designed to reduce the number of security breaches that occur through a lack of employee security awareness.
