ANNOUNCEMENTS

Winter Weather Closures and Delays

- All Fort Eisenhower MWR locations are now closed with the exception of CYS.

- The Commissary will close at 2 p.m. today. (updated 11:36 a.m.)

- Eisenhower Army Medical Center (updated 4 p.m.)

EAMC plans to delay primary health care services until 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 22. This delay impacts appointments, walk-ins, pharmacy, laboratory, and all ancillary clinics.

Dental clinics will start patient care @ 12:30 p.m.

- U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence (updated 10:10 a.m.) CCoE Commanders and Staff Directors are authorized telework (subject to mission requirements) beginning at Noon on 21Jan. through 22Jan. Contractors will abide by the terms of their contracts.

- Fort Eisenhower Directorate of Emergency Services will close the Visitor Control Center at 3 p.m. today and will delay the opening until 10 a.m. tomorrow, Jan. 22.

- CDC and SAC will close at 2 p.m. and all CYS Sports are canceled for Tuesday, Jan. 21.

- Fort Eisenhower Exchange locations will close early on Tuesday. Specific closing time will depend on weather conditions as they develop. Plan to visit these locations early in the day if you need anything.

- The Fort Eisenhower Veterinary Clinic (updated 10:32 p.m.) will close at Noon and remain closed through Wed., Jan 22. A staff member is calling those with appointments.



Operations Status Update: Winter Weather

Fort Eisenhower leadership has been monitoring the developing weather conditions closely.  

Normal operations at Fort Eisenhower for Tuesday, Jan. 21, with early release authority. Commands are encouraged to allow telework if there will be no impact to customer service.

Consult your chain of command or supervisor regarding your reporting requirements. Continue to monitor the local weather and ensure your family, home, and vehicle are ready for the approaching weather.

Drivers are encouraged to exercise extreme caution when driving in winter weather both on- and off-post. Monitor local news media and other weather-related sources for weather updates that may affect travel.

Reporting AIT Soldiers

All AIT Soldiers arriving at Fort Eisenhower must report to the 15th Signal Brigade on Barnes Avenue between 26th Street and 27th Street. Staff duty phone number is (706) 791-8314.

***Fort Eisenhower is a No Drone Zone***

It is unlawful to operate an Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) otherwise known as a “drone” on Fort Eisenhower without authorization.

Unauthorized use of UAS on/over Fort Eisenhower subjects the operator to possible punishment under either the UCMJ, or Federal and/or State law as well as forfeiture of the UAS, recordings, photographs, or videos.

“No-Drone” signs are posted at the installation gates and other locations.

If you see a UAS/drone on Fort Eisenhower; DIAL 911.
