Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers plans Virtual May the Fourth Be With You 5K event
FORT DRUM, N.Y. (April 20, 2020) – Army organizations are finding new ways of doing things these days, including exercising and having fun. This year, Fort Drum Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers has decided to put a new spin on their popular May the Fourth Be With You 5K by going virtual.
The BOSS Virtual May the Fourth Be With You 5K can be completed in your own neighborhood, on your favorite running trail, or even on a treadmill.
There is no better time than now to stay active, stay connected with others via social media and take an adventure that’s out of this world. People currently can't congregate in groups, but they can still come together as a virtual community and enjoy run, fitness, social sharing, and the galaxy.
To join in the fun, do the following:

-
Use a running app on your phone to track your time.
-
Submit your results on the online form.
-
Post your pics on the Fort Drum BOSS Facebook Page using the hashtag, #DrumMay4.
