Mission

Container/Convoy section supports the issuing, receiving, maintenance and accountability of the Installation deployable container assets and processes off post convoy clearances through the Joint Task Force and Texas Department of Transportation.

Container Information

  • Units require a Container Control Officer to manage all unit owned and temp-loan containers. CCO must have duty appointment orders and Joint Container Management access.

  •  All deploying containers must be Container Safety Convention certified through redeployment.

  • If unit doesn’t have enough containers (depending on MTOE) they can request deployable containers from AFSBn-Cavazos.

  • For additional Container Management information, see Fort Cavazos Regulation 750-17 or Annex J of the Transportation Deployment Planning and Execution SOP.
