We recognize that personal problems are common and affect people in different ways; the Fort Cavazos Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is here to help. The Fort Cavazos EAP is a robust program that helps community members work through life challenges that may adversely impact their job performance, emotional health, and overall wellbeing. The EAP provides confidential screenings and assessments, short term non-clinical counseling, supervisory consultations, prevention education, and referral services to Department of the Army civilian employees and their family members, retirees, and family members of active-duty service members. The EAP can also connect employees to essential services such as:
- Family and human service agencies
- Marriage counselors
- Career counselors
- Substance use Counselors
- Community support groups
- Attorneys
- Physicians
- Mental health professionals
- Social workers
- Clergy
- Financial and credit counselors
