CSP prepares Service Members for civilian employment through first class apprenticeships, employment skills training and on the job training with industry. Industry must guarantee high probability of employment upon successful completion of the training program. Requires Fort Cavazos-IMCOM-HRC MOU Program Approval; and Battalion Commander Signed MOA for Soldier to participate.
- 180-days prior to transition, screened, vetted, pre-qualified and industry-selected Soldiers can train for immediate partner-employment.
- Cap is 40-hours a week for No More Than 17 total weeks.
- Training site is the Soldier’s “Place of Duty” for duration of the course.
- Soldier is on full Army Soldier salary and pay.
- Industry-Partner pays the training costs (with some limited exceptions).
