MISSION
The 3rd SFAB is ready to serve as U.S. Army Central’s operational arm of security cooperation. The 3rd SFAB builds partner capacity and increases interoperability in support of U.S. Central Command’s campaign objectives and bi-lateral concept plans. Our advisors enable the Coalition Forces Land Component Command to quickly build combat power and transition from competition to crisis and conflict in support of operation plans.
CENTCOM’s area of responsibility covers 21 nations in the Middle East, Central and South Asia, and the strategic waterways that surround them. 3rd SFAB partners with a diverse array of countries throughout the AOR including the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Lebanon. These nations represent a mosaic of cultural intricacies and diplomatic relationships that are vital to U.S. national interests.
