Please use the “Around the World QR map” or “HSO around the world trifold” to quickly navigate to your next duty station HSO website.

The Out-Processing Office is located on the 3d Floor of the Copeland Center, Building 18010, on the corner of Legends way and TJ Mills. When it is time to PCS or to separate from the military, the out-processing office will provide you an out-processing brief and installation clearing papers.

MILITARY ONESOURCE ⚠

Here, you’ll find out how to handle household goods, manage your pet and guidelines on the shipping process. Your installation may have details on the documents you’ll need when shipping household goods. If available, your installation provides specific instructions on shipping your vehicle. Check transportation for additional information on your vehicle.

Personal Property Processing Office

The Personal Property Processing Office is responsible for the counseling activities associated with outbound shipments and/or storage of personal property for service members/dependents and DOD civilian employees.

Personal Property Quality Assurance

The Personal Property Quality Assurance office ensures Transportation Service Providers and their respective representatives perform in accordance with Defense Personal Property Tender of Service and meet all regulatory requirements. Additionally, the office is the liaison between the customer and the TSP and provides assistance with the claims process.

Reassignments and Family Travel

The Reassignments Office is located on the 2d Floor of the Copeland Center, Building 18010, on the corner of Legends Way and TJ Mills Blvd. When it’s time to PCS, the reassignments team will assist you in ensuring that you receive your PCS orders in a timely manner and will coordinate your Family travel and port call if you are moving overseas.

Sponsorship

Ensures Soldiers (Pvt. to Col.) and their families are assigned sponsors prior to reporting to their next duty station. Obtaining a sponsor reduces the stress of reporting to a new unit, enhances resiliency and improves readiness among Soldiers and Family Members.

TEMPORARY LODGING/HOTELS ⚠

Temporary lodging at Fort Cavazos is under contract to IHG Army Hotels; the reservation desk is at phone number 254-532-5157. IHG Hotels have a great many amenities and are on post. Rooms are pet-friendly for an additional fee, with vaccination records.

Command sponsorship is the permission needed to have family members accompany you with full military benefits during your assignment overseas.

Official Passports and Visas

The Out-Processing Office is located on the 1st Floor of the Copeland Center, Building 18010, on the corner of Legends way and TJ Mills. The Official Passports and Visas Office will provide official passports and visas for all military services, DoD civilians, contractors and their eligible Family Members on assignment to overseas locations.

FORT CAVAZOS TRANSITION CENTER

The Fort Cavazos Transition Center is located on the 3d Floor of the Copeland Center, Building 18010, on the corner of Legends Way and TJ Mills Blvd. The Transition Center provides a separation briefing, orders and DD Form 214 for all Soldiers leaving military service – chapters, ETS and retirements.

TRANSITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

The Transition Assistance Program provides transition assistance, employment life skills training and public/private sector employer connection to all separating Soldiers, retirees, DOD civilian employees in a reduction-in-force/retiring status, and their families.

USO PATHFINDER TRANSITION PROGRAM ⚠

The USO Pathfinder® Transition Program extends the USO experience to active duty, Reserve, National Guard and military spouses by offering professional development services throughout the duration of the service member or military spouse’s career, as well as when they transition out of the military and settle into their new communities.
