Command Sgt. Maj. Eddie N. Guerra III

CSM Eddie N. Guerra III attended Boot Camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, CA, Marine Combat Training at Camp Pendleton and the Field Radio Operator Course at 29 Palms, CA. He transferred into the Army and attended Advanced Individual Training as a 25U Signal Systems Support Specialist. 

Guerra has served as a Team Leader, Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Instructor, Senior Instructor, BN Commo Chief, CG Commo Chief, First Sergeant, Operations Sergeant Major, G63 SGM, BN Command Sergeant Major, and Division G6 SGM. He deployed four times, twice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (Iraq) and twice in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan).

Guerra’s assignments include: 38th Marine Communications Squadron, Center Military Police Company (Fort Bliss, Texas), 34th SG (ROK), 440th Signal Battalion (Darmstadt, Germany), 1-78 Field Artillery Battalion (Fort Sill, Oklahoma), V Corps/ISAF Joint Command (Wiesbaden Germany), C CO, 3rd Special Troops Battalion (Fort Campbell, Kentucky), C CO, 21st Brigade Engineer Battalion (Fort Campbell, Kentucky), HHC, 21st Brigade Engineer Battalion (Fort Campbell, Kentucky), HHC, 50th Expeditionary Signal Battalion (Enhanced) (then-Fort Bragg, North Carolina), United States Army Forces Command G6 (then-Fort Bragg, North Carolina), 57th Expeditionary Signal Battalion-Enhanced (then-Fort Hood, Texas), and 1st Cavalry Division (then-Fort Hood, Texas).

Guerra’s military education includes all levels of the Non Commissioned Officer Education System. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army’s High Risk Personnel Security Course (PSD), Security Force Assistant Advisory Team Course (SFAAT), Battle Staff NCO Course, Master Resiliency Trainer Course, Army Basic Instructor and Small Group Leader Course, First Sergeant/Commander Pre-Command Course, Air Assault School and Pathfinder School. Guerra is a graduate of United States Army Sergeants Major Academy Class 67 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College.
