Personal weapons storage

Weapons storage for Soldiers is now available at Cheyenne Mountain Shooting Complex (CMSC). Fort Carson Soldiers are not permitted to store privately owned weapons in barracks rooms or vehicles, so they typically store them in their unit's armory. Weapons violations can reduce unit readiness and lead to disciplinary action that may prevent Soldiers from being deployable. Unit armory hours of operation and administrative tasks can make it less convenient for Soldiers to access privately owned weapons. For more information about the CMSC, call 719-896-6196.
