About RAMP

The Ivy Raider Athena Mentorship Program (RAMP) empowers, educates, and mentors Ivy Soldiers by building a network of men and women who are inspired to help female leaders successfully advance the Army community though strong and cohesive relationships. RAMP serves to build a diverse, cohesive, disciplined, and fit formation that maximizes the talents of People - the Army’s greatest strength. The program fosters an environment built on trust and inclusion to support two imperatives: Care for each other like family and prepare our People for combat.

RAMP enhances communication and knowledge by fostering candid discussions in a trustworthy environment that encourages freedom to share issues and concerns.

Topics include Women’s Leadership, Fitness and Resiliency, Parenthood/Pregnancy/Postpartum Policies, Work-Life Balance, Childcare & Community resources, Fostering an Inclusive Workplace, Pregnancy and Postpartum Physical Training (P3T) Program, Family Planning, and Career Progression.

When does RAMP meet?

Physical Training: The program meets on the first Wednesday monthly from 6:30-8 a.m. for physical training opportunities that extend into READY discussions. The purpose of RAMP PRT sessions is to build a network and provide frequent opportunities for mentorship and professional development.

Quarterly Professional Development: RAMP will host quarterly professional development events. Examples of these quarterly events are LPDs, panels, and guest speakers. The quarterly events will be held on the 2nd or 4th Thursday of the month during the Raider Brigade’s LPD window from 3-5 p.m.
