Command Sergeant Major Trevor C. Walker is a native of North Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin.  He entered the U.S. Army in September of 1989 where he completed Basic Combat Training and Advance Individual Training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO as a Combat Engineer (12B).

 

CSM Walker’s previous duty assignments include Combat Engineer (Aco, 17th Engineer Battalion, 2nd Armored Division) during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm; Combat Engineer (Dco, 8th Engineer Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division); Combat Engineer Team Leader (Bco, 8th Engineer Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division); Combat Engineer Squad Leader (Cco, 37th Engineer Battalion (CBT) (ABN) during Operation Uphold Democracy; Combat Engineer Squad Leader (Cco, 44th Engineer Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division, Korea); Operations Sergeant (Cco, 37th Engineer Battalion (CBT) (ABN); S-3 Air NCOIC (HHC, 37th Engineer Battalion (CBT) (ABN); Platoon Sergeant (Aco, 37th Engineer Battalion (CBT) (ABN); Mine Action Center NCOIC (XVIII ABN Corps), during Operation Enduring Freedom; Platoon Sergeant (Aco, 27th Engineer Battalion) during Operation Iraqi Freedom II; Joint Readiness Training Center Senior Engineer (JRTC); First Sergeant (Aco, 4th BSTB, 10th MTN Division) during Operation Iraqi Freedom VII; Senior Military Instructor (Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (ROTC), 7 BDE, Cadet Command); student of the Sergeant Major Academy Class 62, Command Sergeant Major (169th Engineer Battalion, Fort Leonard Wood, MO); Command Sergeant Major (1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Korea). Currently the Command Sergeant Major of the U.S. Army Security Force Assistance Command (SFAC).  

 

His military education includes Basic Leader Course, Advance Leaders Course, Senior Leader Course, First Sergeant Course, Sergeant Major Academy (Class 62),  Battle Staff NCO Course, Equal Opportunity Representative Course, Sapper Leader Course, Basic Airborne School, Advance Airborne School, Master Jumpmaster School, Air Assault School, Pathfinder School, Air Movement Operation Course, JRTC Observer Controller Course, Technical Transportation of Hazardous Material Course, Combat Lifesaver Course and the Assistant Master Resilience Trainer Course. CSM Walker is a Graduate of Central Texas College and holds an Associates of Science Degree in Criminal Justice, he is also a Graduate of American Military University and holds a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice.
