Green to Gold Commissioning Options

A recruiter from Cadet Command is available to discuss Green to Gold Commissioning Options on Tuesdays from 1 - 4 p.m. at the Education Center, 2916 Carrington Rd.

ARMY PERSONNEL TESTING CENTER

The Army Personnel Testing Center provides Soldiers with an environment for monitored testing, evaluation, and placement. Testing includes the AFCT, DLAB, DLPT, OPI, SIFT, TABE, and more. Testing is conducted by appointment.

Basic Skills Education Program: The Basic Skills Education Program is the Army’s primary on-duty education program for enlisted personnel. BSEP is offered both in person and remotely. The course is a six-week, half day, on-duty program. The program is designed to help Soldiers master functional reading, writing and mathematical skills. Completion of the program aids Soldiers in raising their general technical score, thus enhancing re-enlistment and promotion potential, eligibility for commissioning programs, reclassification, and MOS efficiency.

NATIONAL TESTING CENTER

The National Testing Center provides testing by appointment. Proctored testing includes CLEP/DSST Exams, Pearson Vue Certification Exams, ASE Exams, MicroSoft Certifications, and Third Party Proctored Exams.

COLLEGE CENTER

Colleges providing on-post classes include Excelsior College, Park University, the University of Maryland Global Campus, and Webster University.

The institutions provide a variety of associate, baccalaureate, master, and doctoral programs. On-site education counselors are available to provide information on transfer credit, enrollment, financial aid, and much more.
