Fort Belvoir is a Department of Defense (DoD) Installation designated to provide protective services related to Secure Hold and Safe Haven for Transportation Service Providers (TSP) transporting DoD Shipments of Arms, Ammunition & Explosives (AA&E) as well as classified information, and Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI).
Carriers/transporters seeking accommodation under Secure Hold and Safe Haven procedures are to report to the Commercial Vehicle Inspection Area at Tulley Gate Access Control Point (ACP) for processing with the on-duty Department of the Army Security Guard Supervisor and the access control personnel staffing that ACP. This location is continuously staffed.
