The Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (Family and MWR) welcomes you to Fort Greely. We have a variety of recreational activities for Soldiers, families, and civilians right here on post. Whether you enjoy snowmaches, ATVs, bowling, arts & crafts, working on your car or even shooting trap or skeet, you can do it with Fort Greely Family and MWR. And there is so much more! We offer top quality child care services and youth programs, rentals of almost anything at Outdoor Recreation, and if you’re hungry, try the Fahrenheit Grill at the Aurora Communities Activies Center.

Auto Skills Center:
Taking care of your vehicle can be a challenge with the extreme Alaskan weather. The Automotive SkillsCenter offers facilities, equipment, technical instruction, skilled assistance, and problem-solving services to combat these issues. We offer a self-help alternative to commercially available repair garages and patrons can reduce their automobile repair cost through hands-on participation. (907) 873-3139

Aurora Community Activities Center:
The Aurora Community Activity Center (CAC) has a little bit of something for everyone! Many family-friendly events take place throughout the year at the CAC, such as the Annual Fall Festival, Holiday Tree Lighting, Spring Fling, Month of the Military Child Carnival, Bowling Leagues, and more! Along with a state-of-the-art facility, the CAC also boasts an impressive 8 lane bowling center. Our lanes are smoke free and family-friendly and is sure to be fun no matter what time of day. Child and Youth Services:
Child and Youth Services (CYS) provides programs and services for children of eligible military and civilian families. Within CYS you will find something to meet your children’s needs, including: full, part time or hourly child care, before/after school care, camps, programs for your middle school and teen youth, instructional classes, workforce preparation opportunities, and sports and fitness activities.
