CSM Blaisdell enlisted in the United States Army in November 1992 and attended One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, Georgia, where he trained as an Infantryman. SGM Blaisdell has served in every position from Rifleman to Command Sergeant Major. SGM Blaisdell is a graduate of the First Sergeant Course, Basic Airborne School, Air Assault School, Combat Lifesaver Course, Emergency Medical Technician Course, Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Defense Officer/NCO Operations Course, Pre-Ranger Course, U.S. Army Ranger School, Instructor Training Course, Tactics Certification Course, Jumpmaster Course, Battalion and Brigade Pre-Command Course, CSM/SGM Legal Orientation Course and the Nominative Leaders Course. SGM Blaisdell has earned an Associate’s degree with Excelsior College in Applied Science and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
